Students from across Goldsmiths University and Kingston School of Art came together to discuss the meaning and purpose of a strike, union and picket line – and co-created flyers with the aim of supporting BIPOC and International students during the industrial action period.

This gathering particularly encouraged students to consider how the experiences of BIPOC and other marginalised groups of students and staff differ within institutions, producing a resource which maps the diversity of our understandings. Overall, this was a chance to share, meet and connect in the welcoming residency space at Goldsmiths CCA; and to collaboratively reimagine what education and the university could be.
